02:00 PM Room: Track: Comprehensive Board Review Speaker/s: Frank Rottier Associate Professor Moderator: Description: The lecture will be a review of soft tissue neoplasms that can be encountered in the foot and ankle. The main focus will be the evaluation, diagnostic work-up and treatment implications based on the nature of the neoplasm. Learning Objectives: 1. Understand the soft tissue neoplasms (benign and malignant) that can be encountered by the foot and ankle surgeon. 2. The attendee will gain an understanding of the evaluation of the patient who presents with a soft tissue neoplasm and how to pursue diagnostic imaging and plan for biopsy. 3. The attendee will gain an appreciation of the different benign and malignant neoplasms that may be encountered by the foot and ankle surgeon. Additionally, information will be provided about potential treatment approaches and prognosis for the patient. |
